Puddles paved the roads at Remedios circle as the Brods and first years made their way to H2 bar for this year’s annual Prior's Stag. As early as 6:30pm, the Brods started to gather at the 2nd floor of the venue as they started to warm the place up with a few beers, nachos, and sisig while watching a video on the bar’s widescreen.  The students from UPCM Class of 2015 then arrived and were cordially welcomed by the Brods, resident and alumnus alike. As the merriments ensued, the bar was then filled with Brother Prior Tomi Dela Paz’ proud introduction of the PHI KAPPA MU sign-ups, which was shortly followed by a beer-drinking relay, featuring teams from different year levels, including a team composed of the sign-ups and another from the PHI Alumni. As expected, nobody could best Brod Michael Chua Mo Φ07 as the undisputed king of the game as he led the clerks to victory. Everyone was also thrilled to see that Brod Pio Villacorta Φ77 still had it in him as he downed his bottle of San Mig lite and showed everyone that he was still a formidable foe in this traditional drinking game. A short film about the Warmth of Brotherhood was then shown in the bar’s widescreen, featuring another “tatak Fernandez” video. After that, the night went on with beer and laughter shared by Brods, sign-ups, and potentials alike. To add to the festivities, it was coincidentally the “Boy’s Night Out” special at H2 bar, and their stage was filled with sweet and sexy singers that serenaded the Brods and danced the night away band, after band, after band.

Of course, all these boons of a good night would never have been possible without the Alumni who graced the event with their presence that night. Kudos to Brod Ardynne Martin Mallari Φ ‘08B for making sure the Alumni are always updated with the Fraternity’s events.

Truly, this year’s Prior's Stag was bigger and better than ever. Three cheers to Brod Antonio Miguel Padilla Dela Paz Φ ‘08B! All for PHI!
