After a successful February RIOT, the Phi Kappa Mu Fraternity held another RIOT last June 11, 2011 at Giligan's Island Restaurant and Bar, Alabang Town Center at Alabang, Muntinlupa City. A break in tradition, this RIOT was to be the first in a series of fellowship nights planned out by Venerable Preceptor Tonicci Paulino Φ2009 and was a preview of a promising year to come. The heavy downpour that afternoon did not stop brods of all ages from coming together for a night of camaraderie and brotherhood.

A celebration of brods practicing in hospitals in the south of Manila and brods living nearby, this was another night of good food, good company and memories. Among the alumni brods present at the event were Brods Gonzalo Carino Robles Φ65, Joselito Amormio Centeno Jamir Φ69A, Jose Castillo Gonzales Φ69A, Pio Renato Figer Villacorta Ф77A, Renato Trota Jose Ф80, Francisco Tupasi Valenzuela Jr. Ф82A, Alfredo Caasi Calado Ф84A, Fernandino Jose Ang Fontanilla Ф86, Jose Anthony Querubin Jocson Ф86, Jose Joven Valenzuela Cruz Ф87, Orville Cortez Ocampo Ф87, Constantino Tocong Castillo III, SE 95-96 Ф91, Fabian Arnel Angeles De Jesus Ф92, Romeo Jalbuena Encanto Ф97, Richmond Go Ocao Chang Ф00, Lawrence Frederick Aquino Tumaneng Ф00, Ryan Julius Angeles Bañez Ф02 and Clarence Pio Rey Cid Yacapin Ф04A.

A testament to the horizontal brotherhood of PHI, younger brods and older brods alike shared stories and experiences of times past and present. Having occupied almost half of the seats in the restaurant, the other customers were in awe as the whole table warmly greeted each brod as they arrived. It was indeed a sight to behold with older brods conversing and exchanging jokes with younger brods as if they were of the same age. Truly, another celebration of the unique brand of brotherhood which is PHI. Congratulations to our Venerable Preceptor and thank you to all the brods who attended and made this event possible.
